02/06/2004 - 10:58 a.m. Sometime tonight, dreaming about the strike, I had a thought that nothing would happen until the 19th. Upon waking up, I thought about it and decided it was just a dream since the conference is definitely today. During the conference, we learned that a tentative agreement has been come up with, but it has still to be voted upon by the APSCUF members. If it is not approved, the strike is still on. They vote on the 19th. The strike, if it happens at all, won't happen until next year. Anyways. It's my birthday today. I got a call from my grandparents this morning, and then from my dad, but I was in the bathroom at the time. I would have called him back, but I've no more minutes on my phone card. That's okay, though, because I get a new one either today or tomorrow. But anyways... what I was going to say is that I like my birthday. In fact, I like birthdays in general. I guess it's because, in my family, during the wartime, they were the only times we had to really celebrate something. If you look through an album of my family, starting with the war, the only pictures we have are from vacations, the New Years, and birthdays. So. Happy birthday, me. Room mate - 10/27/2005
