The Cat
The ultimate world peace plan

Wellness and Walking done, I have two classes before being done for the week. One of them is Drawing, the other Psychology.

Yesterday in 3-D I managed to almost finish the base of the crane I'm working on. Ah yes, five hours of work, and a base completed. About 20 more and I might have the whole thing done at this rate.

Yesterday before 3-D I went and had myself a nice, big lunch. As I was eating it, I felt some remorse due to the unhealth factor of eating a big lunch, and then I remembered that that's the way things are supposed to be. Around mid-day, the biggest meal of the day, and then a small dinner. That's how it's been done in the old country, and, from what I hear, in most of Europe as well. And (other than the Germans) how many overweight Europeans are there?

It makes sense, really. Just think about it: around mid day you eat a big meal, and you have the rest of the day to work it off. Then, around dinner time you eat a snack to keep you going until bed time, and then you sleep. In the morning you eat a good breakfast, work, eat lunch, work, eat dinner, rest. Now, here things are done a bit different. You get up, most of the time don't even eat a breakfast, work and starve until lunch when you eat a snack, work some more, eat a huge dinner because you've been starving all day, and then rest. What happens to all those calories from the huge dinner? They turn to fat because your body doesn't need to use them for energy as you are resting, and because it is afraid you'll starve it some more in the morning. This also leads to problems in digestion. And heart disease. And a bunch of other stuff, I am sure.

So, as I sat there eating my crab cake and my salad (which included an onion - shocking, I know), and later my fruits and a waffle, I decided to go back to the right way of doing things. From now on, my largest meal of the day will be lunch, and dinner will be but a snack. I think everyone should try this sometime. It would bring unity to the different countries, better self esteem to the individuals, and would, in the end, result in complete and total world peace.
