The Cat
A gift from the Universe

02/04/2004 - 2:14 p.m.

So, remember how we were supposed to know about the strike today? Well, the negotiations have been postponed to Friday. I feel as if the universe is conspiring to give me a state-wide strike for my birthday. So far all of my professors have expressed the desire to have our support, and my support they shall have. It being that I'm going home Friday as it is, it may just so happen that my weekend extends for a bit longer than planned. This means, in its most basic form, a conservation of food plan, which means I just might end up making it out of this semester alive. Actually, I don't even know how many meals I have left on my plan, but by all my calculations it seems there are a few less than my days here. However, this is not taking into account the flex, which I didn't even get to spend all of last semester, and this semester I have added a $150 to my $20 or so remains from the last. Last semester I had only $100 to start with, and that was mainly used to feed my family when they came to visit. However, even though this all points to my calculations being wrong, I'd rather have meals and flex left over to spend irresponsibly at the end of the semester than to end up starving the last month.

So.

Having read over my last entry, I feel the need to say that I love my boy. And I know that he loves me. And that he is the most wonderful and caring person, along with being my favorite one, and I don't want anyone thinking anything else. It's just that I was tired and he did take the whole day...

But now I think I should scurry along to my next class, 3-D design, and once again risk my life and those of my unborn children by handling the carcinogenic wire.
