The Cat
Spring Schedule

01/12/2004 - 4:20 p.m.

So, today was the first day of classes. Yesterday, of course, was move in day. My room mate had miraculously dissapeared from my room, but so have my phone cord and the thing that lets me hook up two phones at once. The three spoons are still missing.

But hey, at least she's gone.

Actually, I talked to res-life to see what is going to happen with the room (since Alicia and Bailey have the same problem, and Alicia had heard that if she doesn't move in with someone she will have to pay for a private room, we wanted to check if we're in danger too) and as it turns out they have no room mate for me (or Bailey) at the moment, but the rooms are still doubles, so we don't have to pay extra even if they find no one to move in. Hopefully, they won't find me a room mate at all, but that might just be too nice to happen.

Anyways. Well, the first three classes went well, I spent $150 on two books and a lab journal, but since I think this is all I'll be spending on books I'm not too upset over it. And since they are books that will be used again next year, I do believe I will be able to make a nice profit in the end. Well, not a profit, exactly, more like, I'll get some money back. A nice sum of it, hopefully. But back to the classes. The first two, Environmental Biology and General Psychology (which seems to be exactly the thing I had in highschool, so that's good) have all new people for me. In 3-D design almost half the people are ones I've had class with before, so that was nice. Tegan is in there, and as usual she spent as much time talking and making unneccessary comments in conversations she was not a part in, but overall it looks to be a good class. It also seems that I won't need to be spending too much money on that class, especially considering that most of the supplies can be bought at Pat Catans, Wallmart, and the such.

The other two classes I find out tomorrow.

Other than that, I am currently reading the fourth Harry Potter book and eagerly awaiting the day when I watch the third movie, and am planning to go to the library this Friday (yes, Edinboro does have a library) to get a card and see if they have the fifth Harry Potter book yet. If not, I'll just have to wait until I go home next and will then steal my brother's copy.
