The Cat
White Geese and all that.

11/06/2003 - 1:21 p.m.

So yesterday, me and Bailey were walking by the pond, and there are a bunch of geese on it (as there always are). And then, there is also one white bird among them. It wasn't a seagull, and it wasn't a swan, and since it was among the geese and (other than its whiteness) it looked like a goose, we decided it must have been an albino. As we were discussing this, all the geese started making goose noises and swimming toward us, so we decided that it might be better to start walking away. As soon as we did, they stopped. Then, later, as I was going home from Art History, there was a crane under the little platform.

I bought a goose plushie yesterday. It was on sale, and so I bought it, along with three other cute little plushies, thinking they'll make great Christmas gifts for my cousins. But now that I actually have them, I don't want to give them away. However, since this is the second unnecessary thing I've bought this month (the first being the Notre Dame de Paris soundtracks, both the English version and the original French,) I put myself on a budget. No spending money this week or next. Of course, I'll have to break that Monday when I have to pay my $10 membership fee to be in the air rifle club (I decided to wait until Monday to go because Michelle will go with me too. I really shouldn't do that, if I want something I should be able to go to it by myself, but ah well) Anyways, I do have another excuse, and that is that I need to be looking up info for my project for Environmental Issues. I still have to decide what my topic will be, so I need to do research and see what I can find info on. We only need five sources, three of which need to be different (as in, book, magazine, internet) so that's not too bad, but I really should get working on it, seeing as how it will make up most of my grade in that class and it is due the week before Thanksgiving break.

Speaking of Thanksgiving break, it is coming rather quickly. In fact, everything has been happening rather quickly this year. I can't believe the semester is almost over. But then, I'm not complaining, so.

Anyways, I should get going, start doing my research and all that. So, laters!

Oh! And Alan has finally found a "boyfriend." But the problem is that the boy is transferring next semester because he wants to become a chef and this school doesn't offer that. He'll be going to Pittsburg.
