The Cat
I'm tired again, but then, when am I not?

10/15/2003 - 9:25 p.m.

So. I don't feel like writing about anything in particular, so you'll be just as well off not reading this. However, if you're really nice, you will read it. And you're really nice, and don't want to make me feel bad, right?

And now that I've guilt-tripped you into reading this, prepare to spend the next few minutes of your life regreting your decision.

Anyways. I am tired. This stems from the fact that for the last few nights my room mate has been hacking her lungs out and I have been able to get no sleep whatsoever. Not that I blame her, the poor girl has bronchitis (I actually get along with her fine when she's sick and doesn't talk, interestingly enough) but it did make it extremely difficult to sleep. So, now I am tired.

But other than that, things are just fine. The hermit crabs (they are so very cute, let me tell you) and the plants are still alive, thanks to me remembering to feed them and give them water (yay, I'm a responsible adult now!) The hermits are currently making little rustling noises in their little cage, and that makes me happy. Recently I found out that they like to eat apples, although I have yet to see them in the action. Actually, pretty much all I see them do is sleep and, on occasion, walk a bit. That's fine though, I just like knowing that there is something alive here in the room with me.

So anyways. Today the wind almost blew me away. It gets worse the closer you get to the towers (the TWIN TOWERS *ominous music plays in the background*) and coming back from our class me and Bailey were discussing how they need to put in a railing or a rope of some sort for the students to hold on to as we make our way to and from the dorms. Besides being windy, it was also cold to the point of where it started hailing, and let me assure you that being hit in the face with ice as you are walking along a lake with a fountain that sprays water in your face is no fun at all. Fortunately, I was able to get inside fairly quickly and then rest for a few hours before my last class.

In fact, I think I want to rest again now. So, I guess, dear reader, that you are in luck, for I shall now go drink some hot tea (I have a year's supply at least) and read Winnetou, the book which I ordered last week and that finally arived here today.

So, Good Night.
