Ohhh.... I'm so hungry... And up just a bit too early. Not tired, though, just nothing to do. Well, actually, I do have stuff to do. I have to clean my room (notice how often this has to be done) and write a paper on Great Gatsby. Ah, and now I can see you all going, But Sei, it is the second of June and your high school days are over! And there is no way that your college wants you to write this essay! And there is even less of a way that you would be writing it yourself! Yeah, well. You're right on all those accounts. But what you fail to take into consideration, mes amis, is that my dad is taking a course in literature (he's getting his masters) and he needs this paper written. Yeah, I know, shame on him for cheating like this and shame on me for helping him. Ah well. At least it gives me something to do in these all too early morning hours. ** ** Hmm. Hmm hmm hmmm.... Citizenship Application: Part One: Name. Three sections asking for it, and one if you want to change your name. Part Two: Eligibility Part Three: Information Such as Social Security, Marital Status, Disabilities Part Four: Address/Telephone Part Five:Gender, Race, Hair Color (black, brown, blonde, gray, white, red, sandy, bald), Eye Color (brown, blue, green, hazel, gray, black, pink, maroon, other) .... Part Ten: General Questions: (have you ever claimed to be a US citizen; have you ever registered to vote; do you have any title of nobility in any foreign country; have you ever been declared legally incompetent) Affiliation: (have you ever been a member of: a communist party, any other totalitarian party, a terrorist organization; have you ever advocated the overthrow of any government by force or violence; between March 23, 1933 and May 8, 1948, did you work or associate in any way with any German, Nazi, or S.S. military unit, paramilitary unit, self-defense unit, vigilante unit, citizen unit, police unit, govenment agency or office, extermination camp...) Continuous Residence Good Moral Character: (have you ever commited a crime for which you were not arrested; have you ever been a habitual drunkard, a prostitute, been married to more than one person at the same time, gambled illegally or recieved income from illegal gambling) Removal, Exclusion, Deportation Military Service (have you ever deserted from the US Armed Forces?) Selective Service Registration Oath Requirements (do you understand the full Oath of Alliegence?) Speaking of which, the Oath they provide here is most definitely NOT the one I had to take. Or rather, it is, except that there is a huge part of it missing, which is rather odd as it claims to be the full oath.
